Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Pediatrics with EPIC experience required License: SC RRT license Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience working in all areas of Pediatrics including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care - Experience with aerosol set up mask, aerosol set up trach, Albuterol, Apnea Monitor, Atrovent, bag and mask, capillary blood gases, Flovent, high-flow nasal cannula, metered-dose inhaler, Mucomyst, pediatric critical care, and trach collar Description: We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for our pediatric respiratory care unit. The position is for night shifts, requiring flexibility with weekend coverage every other weekend. Floating within different pediatric areas is required based on the needs of the unit. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS along with a valid SC RRT license. This role will involve working with pediatric patients and performing various respiratory therapies. Applicants should have knowledge of the Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems. Strong critical thinking and patient care skills are essential for success in this position. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care. The unit requires expertise in handling various pediatric diagnoses and supporting interdisciplinary teams.
