About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: None specified Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA preferred Must-Have: Knowledge of SPM and Robotics preferred. Ability to work weekends. Commitment to block scheduling, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Description: Position available for a Sterile Processing Technician. The technician will be responsible for cleaning and sterilizing equipment used in surgical procedures. The position requires knowledge of high-level disinfection and sterilization procedures. The technician will be expected to assemble sets and trays, as well as document equipment use. The role does not require any on-call duty. Experience with Epic charting is preferred. Robotics experience is greatly preferred. Block scheduling will accommodate weekend work. Travelers may be required to float between facilities if necessary. Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. Flexibility in scheduling is essential. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment. Commitment to patient safety and quality care is imperative. Teamwork and collaboration with other staff members are essential for success.
