About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: - ARDMS - ARRT R* - BLS - RVT* - ARDMS in at least one category Must-Have: - Experience with Epic charting system - Community hospital experience required - Willingness to float within hospital or to nearby facilities Description: Looking for a qualified ultrasound tech to join our team. The position involves variable 10-hour shifts with an opportunity for on-call duties during the night shift. Start times are 6:30 AM or 11:00 AM. The tech will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including but not limited to abdominal aorta, carotid, cardiac exams, and various biopsies. Experience with multiple age groups, including adolescents and adults, is preferred. Duties also include maintaining patient comfort and safety during procedures. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. References covering at least one year of experience within the last three years are required. Please ensure licensing and certifications are up to date and readily available. Flexibility to work two out of the three major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) is expected. Housing options should be considered prior to application as availability may be limited. Travelers may float between facilities, and refusal to do so may impact the assignment. Cell phone use for work-related purposes may be required. This role is key in providing excellent patient care through quality imaging services.
