About the Position
Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Preferred License: WA License Required to Apply Certifications: Required: ACLS, BLS. Preferred: ARRT R, ARRT Advanced Cert Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Knowledge in obtaining vitals, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and managing sinus node rhythms. Experience in Holter monitoring. Skills in accurate monitoring, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation, and cardiac mapping. Comfortable performing cardioversion, conduction studies, electrophysiology evaluations, and insertion/programming of AICDs. Ability to perform left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker insertion, and temporary pacemaker procedures. Experience as a room circulator and maintaining a sterile field. Ability to conduct tilt table studies and phlebotomy. Description: The role involves working in an electrophysiology lab. The technician will interact with adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include monitoring patients and performing stress tests as required. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the outlined skills and experience. No on-call requirements exist for this position. Weekly scheduling includes coverage during the day shift. Preferred candidates should have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position requires obtaining vitals, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and proficiency in sinus node rhythms and Holter monitoring. Two references covering one year of experience are required from previous employers. Candidates with travel experience are encouraged to apply. The role may involve weekend coverage as required.
