About the Position

Job Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Electroencephalography Specialty: EEG Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Other - 5 shifts per week Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of EEG Technologist experience License: High School Diploma or its equivalent Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Must-Have: - High School Diploma or equivalent - One year of experience as an Electroencephalography Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting Description: Prepares patients for EEG exams. Applies electrodes to patients' heads. Operates and maintains the appropriate equipment. Identifies tracings and prepares records. Candidates must have a Certificate of Completion from an ABRET recognized training program or be a graduate from a CAAHEP accredited program with a possible substitution for experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. This position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment.
