About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12:30 PM - 00:30 AM Experience: Minimum 1 year License: State License Required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Epic Experience Description: 40 hours weekly, with variable shifts. Predominantly swing shifts from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Must be open to occasional night shifts from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Call is optional; not required if not agreeable. Daily caseload is for a 35-bed hospital with a 14-bed emergency department. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Epic experience is required. First-time travelers are welcomed. On-call is not required but available. Candidates will not float within the scope to meet facility needs. Local candidates are not accepted; a 75-mile radius rule is in effect. Pending state license accepted. Maximum 7 total days off allowed during the 13-week assignment. Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA. Most common equipment includes GE and PACS. Skills required include: 3D rendering techniques, including maximum intensity projection and volume rendering. Conducting abdominal scans with and without contrast. Working in adult acute care and outpatient settings. Performing various emergency department procedures. Handling intravenous pyelograms and myelography. Administering contrast media and performing venipuncture. Managing musculoskeletal trauma and pediatric care. Experience with thoracic and vascular CT procedures is desirable.
