About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00); Night 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00) Hours per Shift: 12 hours; 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RRT only Certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT Must-Have: Mixture of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts required. Every other weekend is mandatory. Clinical screening will determine clinical fit. Candidates will undergo a review process. Additional Info: Could care for COVID patients. Facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Medical and religious exemptions for vaccines are allowed. Traveler care may include critical patient cases. Candidate must have experience with Epic charting system. Pre-approved time off is limited to seven days maximum. Patients treated include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages 70 with approximately 20 visits per day. The facility has 67 beds. Job responsibilities include providing care to patients with respiratory needs, setting up aerosols, managing ventilator settings, and performing various therapeutic procedures. The position may involve collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams. Emergency scenarios such as intubation and extubation are part of the responsibilities. Suctioning, arterial blood gas drawing, and tracheostomy care are included in daily tasks. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
