Job Title: Psych Tech Profession: Client Psych Tech Specialty: Psych Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shift Schedule, Holidays, Weekends, On Call Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent experience required License: Not specified Certifications: BLS from AHA, CPI - blue card preferred with hands-on training required Must-Have: Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology Description: Looking for a compassionate team player to be involved in direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis. Responsibilities include activities such as daily living and social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN. Effective communication with patients is essential to ensure they have access to required services. Inform the RN of any changes in the patient's condition. Participation in rounds and group therapy as needed is also required.
