About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:45 - 17:00) Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submission Certifications: BLS, RVT (if not RVT, but has RVS, send as "Screen") Must-Have: - Experience with arterial mapping, carotid studies, Doppler studies, peripheral vascular resistance, renal artery duplex, upper extremity arterial, and upper extremity venous studies. - Experience with Parks Flo-Lab and Agfa. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Call offs or additional RTO in the unit may turn into cancellations. The expected start date is subject to change depending on class and trainer availability. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments to accommodate any schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. The final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Daily work will involve 8-10 studies per tech. There are 4 rooms available for procedures. No call requirement is included. No float within the unit is required. No weekend work is mandatory. Special procedures will focus on vascular ultrasound, including carotid duplex, AAA, venous insufficiency, renal artery, and upper and lower venous duplex. Some equipment used will be Phillips.
