About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Cardiac Cath Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 9-Hour Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS (AHA), ARRT, BLS (AHA), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have: High risk coronary intervention and STEMI intervention scrubbing experience; Ability to scrub/circulate a STEMI; Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring in neuro interventional for call; At least 3 years of cath lab experience Description: Must have Cath Lab and Neuro experience. Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during procedures. Average number of cases per day is 18. Common diagnoses include coronary and neuro conditions, particularly high-risk coronary interventions. Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system used is Epic. Supervision is available during operating hours. Shifts typically consist of 5 days within a week, starting at 0700 or 0830 as assigned. Weekend call requirements include 4 weekends within a 13-week assignment. Call response time is expected to be 30 minutes. May require floating to EP/IR departments. Scrubs are provided. Unit-specific orientation will be conducted. No BSN required. Trauma Level: 1 Care Setting: Acute
