Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care and therapeutic interventions to support functional independence
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure or certification in the state of California
• Current NBCOT certification in good standing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
• Strong clinical documentation skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a similar clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
