Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotation | Every 3rd Weekend As Needed | Every Other Holiday | On-Call 1 Per Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical technologist duties across a high-volume, 22-room OR staffed 24/7
• Scrub and support procedures across multiple surgical services including general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Respond to trauma cases in a Level 1 trauma environment
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
• Float to other OR campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgical experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Active NBSTSA certification required (no other surgical tech certification accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work flexible schedules

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing in robotics-assisted surgical procedures
• Broad multi-specialty surgical background across 5 or more service lines
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across multiple OR environments
