Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist to support a busy Operating Room in an acute care setting. The Surgical Technologist will assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, organizing surgical instruments, and ensuring all equipment and supplies are available throughout procedures.

This position primarily supports orthopedic surgical services while also assisting with general surgery, gynecology, podiatry, spine, cystoscopy, and robotic procedures. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong orthopedic experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience.
• Current Washington State Surgical Technologist license is required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Orthopedic surgery experience is required.
• Robotic surgery experience is preferred, or willingness to learn robotic procedures.
• Certification through NBSTSA (Certified Surgical Technologist – CST) preferred.
• Experience maintaining sterile technique and assisting in a variety of surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary surgical team.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and adaptability.
• Ability to meet 30-minute on-call response time.
