About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; 2 years required License: State license or compact required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Willingness to float between locations as needed. Description: Start date needs to be within 2 weeks of offer due to compliance requirements. Candidates with less than 1 year of experience will not be considered. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend coverage may be required on a rotating schedule. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between locations if agreeable. This position primarily involves outpatient services with one half-day of inpatient evaluations. Floating between outpatient clinics may be required. No requests for time off will be accepted within the first two weeks of the assignment. Only a maximum of 10 days of time off will be allowed. No full calendar weeks of time off are permitted. All required certifications and licensure must be submitted with the application. Two supervisor references, completed within the past 18 months, are necessary. Interview availability should be included with the application. Experience with certain charting systems is preferred. Skills suitable for this position include assessment, cognitive disorders, geriatrics, outpatient clinic experience, and various rehabilitation techniques. Candidates should be comfortable with patient education and developing plans of care. This role supports a diverse range of patient diagnoses across various age groups. Candidates must demonstrate effective time management skills and adaptability in a clinical setting.
