Contract | Rotating Shifts (8s, 10s, 12s) | Mid shifts starting at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub into a wide variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, general/vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, trauma, and cardiovascular procedures (CABG, valve, pacers, lead extractions, lung cases)
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout all assigned cases
• Operate within a team environment reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, OR Manager, and OR Director
• Fulfill call responsibilities including 1–2 weeknights per week and approximately one weekend per month (end of shift Friday through 6:30 AM Monday)
• Utilize Cerner Surginet EMR for documentation and case management
• Participate in a one-shift preceptor orientation specific to the floor

Required Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification or equivalent credentialing
• Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general surgery, vascular surgery, and spine procedures
• Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR
• Ability to fulfill weeknight and weekend call requirements as scheduled
• Ability to work rotating shifts including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing cardiovascular cases including CABG, valve repairs, pacemaker placements, lead extractions, and thoracic/lung cases
• Familiarity with high-acuity and trauma surgical environments
• Experience with ENT and neurosurgical procedures
