About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inpatient physical therapy License: Must have an active PT license with no pending status Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Experience in acute care settings. Description: Provide inpatient rehabilitation services for adults and geriatrics. Work with a daily census of approximately 200 patients. Assess and evaluate patients for appropriate care plans. Implement treatment plans focused on rehabilitation and enhancing mobility. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Provide patient and family education regarding therapeutic interventions. Document patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary. Participate in weekend coverage as required, one weekend day per month. Maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Flexibility to adjust hours for PACU discharge coverage may be necessary. Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is essential.
