About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Technologist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room / Scrub Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied shifts, possibly weekends Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent hospital experience License: Current CPR Certifications: Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician course Must-Have: - One (1) year recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist - Current CPR Description: This is a Level II trauma center position. You will work primarily in the inpatient main operating room. There may be a requirement to float to the outpatient same-day surgery center when needed. Candidates must possess relevant experience and credentials as outlined. Holiday coverage is required. Bilingual skills are not necessary. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Additional requirements may include flexibility to float to other areas as needed. The environment is fast-paced and involves collaboration with a diverse healthcare team.
