About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Nights Hours per Shift: 8p - 7:30a Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT (MR) Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR) Must-Have: Previous experience on GE MRI Description: The position requires an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The department operates one GE 1.5T scanner. Averages of 30 scans/studies are performed in a 24-hour period. The role includes starting IVs when applicable. Radiologists are available both in-house and online. There are no floating or covering requirements for this position. The shift includes call duties typically one night per week and one weekend per month. Weekend and holiday work will be required. The dress code consists of black pants and royal blue tops. The use of the EMR system is Epic and PACS software is also utilized. Department-specific orientation is provided for new hires.
