About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Weekdays Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Cath Lab experience required; 1 year of travel experience preferred License: Ohio State Licensure Certifications: ARRT, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2+ years current Cath Lab experience required - 1+ years travel experience preferred - Required certifications (ARRT, BLS, ACLS) Description: The Cath Lab Radiology Technologist provides professional patient care through the application of Radiologic skills and procedures. The technologist works with an assigned group of patients as a primary caregiver. Direct patient care is provided while collaborating with other team members, including physicians and patient families, to achieve optimal outcomes. The technologist has access to patient information and may make decisions independently or in collaboration with team members, supervisors, and physicians. This role works directly under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath manager. Duties include scrubbing and monitoring multiple modalities within the Cath Lab. The technologist assists in heart catheterization procedures and emergent procedures such as impella and IABP. Additional lab responsibilities may include work in the Peripheral lab and EP lab. Must reside outside a 60-mile radius.
