About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days with On Call Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Certification/licensure required to work as a Cath Lab Tech Certifications: BLS, RCIS Certificate or RT degree Must-Have Skills/Experience: Scrub/Monitor experience Description: Providing quality health care to the community for 60 years. Employs over 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. The facility has 167 beds and is designated as a Level III Trauma Center. All clinical staff must undergo state-specific checks prior to assignment start date. Candidates must have the required certifications prior to the start of their assignment. Position involves monitoring cases, transporting patients, assisting in workup and recovery, and stocking the department. The patient population served includes all ages. Personality fit should be outgoing and a strong team player. Common diagnoses and treatments include caths, pacemakers, permacaths, ports, and vascular cases. Dress code includes facility-provided scrubs; casual wear is not acceptable.
