Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer precise radiation treatments to patients using advanced Varian Trilogy systems
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to ensure optimal treatment plans
• Monitor patients during therapy, addressing side effects and providing compassionate care
• Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner and document treatment details
• Operate and perform quality checks on radiation therapy equipment daily
• Educate patients on treatment procedures and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist
• California License in Radiation Therapy required
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) required
• BLS certification required
• Recent experience with Varian Trilogy linear accelerator
• Experience with Varian systems: Aria, Eclipse, MS4, Teletracker, Patient Select
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and safety standards
• Skilled in operating Varian Trilogy and associated software
• Proficient in electronic medical records, particularly Cerner
• Excellent attention to detail for treatment accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative oncology team
