Job Description

Travel Pharmacy Technician to support a hospital pharmacy in a fast-paced acute care environment. The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy operations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy technician experience.
• Current Pharmacy Technician certification/registration as required by state regulations.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital pharmacy is required.
• Experience with automated medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
• Experience with Vigilanz clinical surveillance software is a plus.
• Knowledge of sterile compounding and hospital medication distribution processes.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends as part of a 7-on/7-off schedule.
