About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Acute Care Hospital Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year required; previous charge experience preferred License: Wisconsin or Compact License preferred (to be obtained prior to start) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (completion required during compliance) Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Description: The Physical Therapist will work in an acute care hospital setting. The focus will be on patient care and rehabilitation. Experience with a variety of conditions and patient demographics is essential. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and patient education. Experience with charting systems is a plus. Local candidates will be considered. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The position requires flexibility to accommodate weekend shifts. Additional qualifications include the ability to work with various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily patient census ranges from 8 to 9. Interdisciplinary support may be available in the unit. Candidates should be able to adapt to changing environments and demonstrate strong time management skills. Compliance with all facility requirements is necessary for employment.
