About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Respiratory Therapist license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: Charge experience preferred, patient ratio experience required Description: Block first timer position available. Will float between units as needed. Weekends required every other weekend. Position requires floating between nearby facilities. Special requirements include floor care, emergency response, and rapid response. Expected ratios depend on patient acuity. Pediatric and trauma experience preferred. Daily patient demographics include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available. Travelers should be flexible and comply with facility needs. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Completion of modules and compliance documents is required prior to start date. References are required covering experience within the last three years. Key skills include aerosol setup, nebulizer therapy, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Capable of managing tracheostomy care and rapid response situations. Experience with respiratory equipment and procedures preferred.
