About the Position

Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 Year Required License: Valid License Required Certifications: ARRT M*, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - 3-D Mammography - Diagnostic Mammograms - Digital Mammography - Fine Needle Aspiration* - Hologic 3D - Hologic Affirm BX* - Needle Localizations* - Outpatient - Clienttion Safety - Screening Mammograms - Stereotactic Biopsy* - Universal Precautions/Core Measures Description: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM. The candidate will perform a variety of mammography procedures. The average number of visits per day is 20. There are 2 procedure rooms available for use. No weekend work is required. Candidates should have experience with the Epic charting system. Previous charge experience is preferred. A valid state license is mandatory. Travelers may be asked to float within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities. Employees must comply with all safety procedures and protocols. The position requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments. Work may include special procedures related to mammography. Travelers must be willing to work during major holidays, if needed. Two references covering a year of experience are required during the compliance process.
