This outpatient physical therapy position is located in Maricopa, Arizona, a thriving and rapidly growing city in the greater Phoenix area. Maricopa offers over 300 days of sunshine each year, beautiful Sonoran Desert views, and convenient access to both Phoenix and Tucson. The typical caseload consists primarily of outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical patients, with a mix that may include sports-related injuries, spine care, joint replacements, and general strengthening and conditioning needs. You can expect a varied day that includes initial evaluations, individualized treatment sessions, progress notes, and patient education. Treatment sessions may blend manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, balance and gait training, and functional movement retraining tailored to each patient’s goals. Patient volumes are structured to support both productivity and quality of care, with a focus on appropriate scheduling and clinic support staff to help streamline your day. A standard schedule typically includes weekday shifts with consistent hours, providing predictable workdays and opportunities for work-life balance. Occasional extended hours or flexible scheduling may be available depending on clinic needs and patient demand.
