Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with acute and chronic disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional activities and rehabilitation goals
• Perform fall risk assessments and adhere to infection prevention protocols
• Accurately complete billing documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for charting and documentation
• Float between like units or affiliate facilities as needed to meet patient care demands

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Knowledge of infection prevention practices and fall/risk assessment protocols
• Experience with billing documentation
• Willingness to float between units and/or nearby affiliate facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures
• Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
