Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional mobility training
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and progress
• Adhere to all facility policies, including identification and badging requirements at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico
• Current state or federally issued photo identification required
• Must comply with facility badging and identification policies at all times
• Ability to meet a 35-hour weekly guarantee schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a clinical or rehabilitation facility setting
• Familiarity with New Mexico state healthcare compliance and registry requirements
