Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, by injection, or inhalation for diagnostic imaging purposes.
• Operate imaging equipment including SPECT/CT scanners to capture images of the brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, ensure comfort, and position patients appropriately for scanning.
• Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical types and amounts used, as well as procedural documentation.
• Produce computer-generated images for physician interpretation and process images using relevant software systems.
• Follow established radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Required Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire license and certification to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensuring radiation safety protocols.
• Strong technical and computer skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
• Familiarity with Radiant Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain current knowledge of advances and innovations in the nuclear medicine field.
