Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in Grand Prairie, TX. This role requires working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist in a fast-paced high-volume environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for various pharmacy technician duties, including prescription filling and IV preparation.

Key Responsibilities of the Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification
• Prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist
• Enter data into computer systems for prescription filling and reimbursement payments
• Prepackage medication for dispensing according to standards and regulations
• Assist Pharmacist in final checks and coordinate delivery to customers
• Maintain inventory practices, including receiving and rotating medications
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements of the Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Certified pharmacy technician license
• IV certification preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to multitask and support pharmacists
• Dependable and punctual
• Experience with complex automated dispensing systems
