Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled Sonographer for a travel assignment in Uniontown, PA. The role involves working in an acute care setting, and candidates should be prepared to perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The assignment is best suited for professionals holding appropriate certifications, and who are comfortable operating within cardiac and vascular specialties.

Key Responsibilities of the Sonographer

• Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures in Cardiac Graphics, including echocardiograms and stress echoes, if certified in Cardiac.
• Conduct all non-invasive imaging procedures in Vascular Laboratories, including venous and arterial duplexes, if certified in Vascular.
• Bill procedures properly and prioritize patient scheduling.
• Obtain pre-testing information and communicate with patients regarding procedures.
• Document completed procedures within the patient chart for physician review.
• Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to assist in diagnosis.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of equipment and work areas.
• Ensure patient and unit information confidentiality at all times.

Requirements of the Sonographer

• BLS (AHA) Certification
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS
