About the Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: Acute care experience is a hard stop requirement Description: Licensed Physical Therapist needed for an acute care hospital setting. The role requires providing rehabilitation services to patients in critical care. Candidates should possess experience in a variety of physical therapy diagnoses including but not limited to post-operative conditions and neurological disorders. The expected patient care ratio is 1:1. Strong assessment and clinical skills are essential for success in this role. Dress code includes solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. Must be able to commit to working three out of five designated holidays during the assignment. Providers may be expected to float to nearby facilities as needed. Travelers’ refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. References and a background check will be required prior to start. Flexibility in scheduling and adherence to contract requirements is essential.
