About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience scanning PET. A minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required. License: Active Compact or State License required at the time of submission. Certifications: AHA BLS, NMTCB or ARRT (R) required. Must-Have: Willing to accept a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech or CT Tech with PET experience. Float required within scope of practice. Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer. Description: The position requires a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech or CT Tech with PET experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience scanning PET. Experience with GE equipment is preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday; no weekends or on-call required. Candidates may be required to float within their scope of practice. Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and call-ins. Submission packets must include required documentation. Travelers should be aware of RTO policies and must work either a major or minor holiday. Travelers may submit to one position at a time and must provide two references. The facility conducts background checks and must be notified of any license hits upfront. After working for one year, travelers must take a minimum of 6 months off before returning.
