About the Position
Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT, CT Registry Certifications: Required certifications include ARRT and CT Registry Must-Have: Ability to perform CT scans with and without contrast Ability to perform X-Ray imaging Description: The traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. This includes working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. 1+ years of experience is acceptable. The facility has 2 CT units serving emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient populations. Patient ratios are not applicable. The type of equipment used is GE. The documentation system utilized is Meditech along with Centricity PACS. CT guided biopsies are among the relevant procedures for these positions. The dress code requires department scrubs in navy blue. The facility is a 190-bed acute care facility providing community healthcare services. Services include 24-hour emergency care, a sleep center, and a women’s imaging center. The facility is a vital member of the community and maintains a high level of involvement with health education. This includes performing health fairs and no-cost screenings for common medical conditions. The facility has received several nationally-recognized accreditations and awards, demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care. It has been recognized as a Primary Stroke Center and has received an esteemed state award. A rating of A for Patient Safety by the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide has also been achieved.
