About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: BLS Certifications: RCS, RDCS, or ACS (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer through CCI) Must-Have: TTE complete with color and Doppler Ultrasound Enhancement Agents (UEA Definity/Optison) Advanced imaging in accordance with ASE/IAC Echo, including but not limited to LV Global Strain and 3D HOCM Agitated Saline Contrast studies Description: The Cardiac Sonographer will perform advanced cardiac diagnostics. Responsibilities include conducting TTE, TEE, Stress Echo, and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies. The role requires collaboration with other medical professionals. Support is provided by a dedicated Cardiac Ultrasound Educator and Chief Sonographer. The department maintains a patient and family-focused culture while ensuring high-quality care. The environment is fast-paced, balancing both portable and in-lab studies. Preferred skills include experience with Stress Echo and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies.
