About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech/X-ray Tech Combo Role Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30); Day 4x10-Hour (12:00 - 22:30) Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: 1 year minimum with a minimum of 6 months experience in the field of Computerized Tomography, with CT certification. X-Ray experience required. License: State License Required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS required Must-Have: - Call and holidays required - BLS required - ARRT required - Flu shot required during flu season; no exemptions accepted - COVID-19 Vaccine Required; no exemptions Description: Schedule includes Sunday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM with call. Monday and Tuesday shifts are from 12 PM to 10:30 PM. Wednesday shift is from 9 AM to 7:30 PM with rotating call on Fridays (approximately every 8th Friday). There may be some days when the schedule will vary based on coverage needs. Daily caseload per tech ranges from 35 to 50. This is a busy level III trauma center. All CT scans except a few select exams are performed. Currently, cardiac CT scans are not performed, but this will change soon. X-ray procedures include diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and surgery cases. The facility is busy in the OR with orthopedic and pain management cases. A breast radiologist is present on Mondays and Tuesdays. An interventional radiologist is available on Thursdays and Fridays. The role may involve floating to nearby facilities as needed. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. RTO must be presented upfront for approval. Maximum of 10 total RTO days is allowed during the assignment. Full calendar weeks of RTO are not accepted. Two supervisor references completed within the past 18 months are required for submission. All required certifications and licenses must be included. Interview availability must be provided with the submission.
