Job Title: Speech Therapist Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Speech Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Licensed Speech Therapist Certifications: American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Must-Have: - Licensed Speech Therapist within the state - BLS certification Description: Regional expectations are in place for performance standards. If a traveler does not meet these expectations, the contract may be terminated immediately. The remaining position involves inpatient care with potential for some outpatient responsibilities. Patient population includes neuro cases such as stroke, TBI, and Parkinson's, as well as trauma and post-intubation patients. Cognitive evaluations for home safety and some swallow studies are also part of the responsibilities. This role is suitable for individuals who meet the licensing and certification requirements.
