About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of one year in Cath Lab Tech experience License: NJ Diagnostic Radiologic Tech License required (may be submitted without it in hand) Certifications: ARRT (R) Radiography required, ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Cath Lab checklist required - Ability to arrive at facility within 30 minutes for emergency call - Experience with IABP, Impella, and Atherectomy Description: The position requires an experienced Cath Lab Tech. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of Cath Lab experience. The role includes performing various cardiac procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Candidates should demonstrate skills in accurate monitoring, equipment set-up, and maintaining sterile fields. A thorough understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. Candidates are expected to perform cath lab interventions including left and right heart catheterization and the use of vascular closure systems. Call is required, with expectations to be available one weekend per month and approximately one day per week. Candidates must have strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills. This position involves caring for adult patients and contributing to high-quality patient outcomes. All candidates must meet necessary healthcare compliance regulations.
