About the Position

Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) $$SN$$

Location: PennCare for Kids – Limerick / Phoenixville, Pennsylvania

Shift: Days – 5x8s (Schedule varies between 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Duration: 14 weeks

Job Duties

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and clinical information.

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical workflows.

• Manage patient calls, scheduling, and appointment coordination.

• Support daily operations in a pediatric primary care/specialty practice setting.

• Perform assigned clinical and administrative duties as needed.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow patient care protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and office staff to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.

• BLS certification required.

• Epic experience preferred.

• Must be able to commute within 30 minutes to both Limerick and Phoenixville locations.

• Must be available for rotating schedules, including one evening shift until 7:00 PM (Monday or Tuesday).

• Weekend requirement: One Saturday shift (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) per month.

• Must provide own stethoscope.

• Must be interested in potential temp-to-perm opportunity with Penn Medicine.
