About the Position

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to prepare medications, process prescriptions, maintain inventory, and ensure exceptional patient service. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, pharmacy knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and compliance with pharmacy regulations.   Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
• Receive, process, and accurately enter prescription orders.
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring expiration dates.
• Label, package, and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Assist with insurance claim processing and prescription billing.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
• Support quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current pharmacy technician registration/licensure as required by state regulations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
