Position: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) $$SN$$

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Shift: Nights – 4x9s (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

Duration: 13 weeks

Job Duties

• Perform moderate- and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing.

• Evaluate specimens to ensure pre-analytical quality requirements are met.

• Communicate critical laboratory test results promptly and accurately.

• Perform quality control, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Maintain reagent and laboratory supply inventory.

• Document testing, maintenance, and corrective actions.

• Train new employees and students as needed.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or another Laboratory Science.

• Active Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (MLS/MT also accepted).

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital laboratory experience.

• Experience with specimen evaluation, quality control, and instrument maintenance.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to report critical test results.

• English proficiency (Read, Write, Speak).
