About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers with strong pediatrics and NICU-focused skillset/experience. License: Must have an active license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT. Must-Have: Must have experience with all age groups. Description: The position requires strong experience in PICU/NICU settings. Candidates must be competent to care for adult patients in various settings. Daily patient load typically includes 6-7 ventilated patients with a total average of 40 visits per day. The facility accommodates a mixed age group including neonates, infants, children, and adults. Common patient diagnoses include critical care respiratory therapy. Special equipment used includes Maquet Servo i, Draeger V500, jet ventilation, oscillation, and nitric oxide. Candidate must have experience with high-frequency jets, as it is common to have several running at all times. Role includes responsibilities across various specialty areas based on experience and skillset. Floating to other departments within the respiratory care setting will be required. Weekend coverage every other weekend is mandatory. Holiday shifts are required as scheduled. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the scope without restrictions or special requests. Prior charge experience is preferred. The facility expects compliance with expected certifications and skills.
