Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Flex schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday Hours per Shift: 38 guaranteed Experience: 0 years minimum License: Active OTA License required Certifications: None specified Must-Have: Strong documentation and time-management skills; flexible and collaborative mindset Description: Seeking a passionate and adaptable Travel COTA for a large, dynamic skilled nursing facility. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The focus is on providing patient-centered care aimed at improving functional independence. Duties include implementing occupational therapy treatment plans for residents. Effective communication with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team is essential. Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and regulatory standards. Complete documentation as per facility standards. SNF experience is preferred, but mentorship is available for those with 0-1 year of experience.
