About the Position

Job Title: Central Sterile Technician Profession: Central Sterile Technician Specialty: Central Sterile Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2-4 years preferred License: Not applicable Certifications: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required Must-Have: High School Diploma or Equivalent Knowledge of case cart assembly Familiarity with regulatory standards of materials management Description: Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures. Adhere to infection control standards and regulatory requirements. Process specialty and general instruments efficiently. Reset instrument sets without error. Decontaminate instruments and equipment according to procedure. Maintain stock levels within the department. Prepare and assemble surgical trays and equipment based on established listings. Communicate instrument repair needs to the supervisor. Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and performance.
