Job Title

Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel Contract

Location

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month | Approximately 8-hour shifts, start time 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
• Evaluate, assess, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute care needs
• Implement and progress therapeutic interventions in alignment with patient goals and physician orders
• Document patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately using facility EMR system (ProTouch)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid in the state of New Mexico
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• Proficiency or ability to quickly learn ProTouch EMR
• Ability to adhere to facility dress code (Navy Blue Scrubs)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an LTACH or similar acute care facility setting
• Experience with travel therapy assignments or adaptability to new clinical environments
