This outpatient Echo Technologist position is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a city known for its scenic beauty, welcoming community, and vibrant urban core. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated outpatient cardiology physician practice caring for adult patients with a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and a supportive clinical team, contributing to high-quality diagnostic imaging that guides patient management and treatment decisions. The practice emphasizes professional respect, clear communication, and a patient-centered approach to care. Your typical day will focus on performing scheduled adult echocardiograms in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients, conducting transthoracic echo studies according to established protocols, acquiring and optimizing images, and ensuring accurate measurements and documentation. You will work with modern echo equipment and digital imaging systems, following structured workflows to provide timely results to the cardiology providers. The environment is designed for efficient and consistent outpatient care, with predictable daytime hours and a stable schedule. Patient volumes are managed to support quality imaging and comfortable patient interaction, with examinations typically scheduled at defined intervals throughout the day. While specific patient ratios and room counts may vary by day, the practice aims to balance productivity with a strong focus on diagnostic accuracy and patient experience. Echo technologists in this practice play a vital role in evaluating conditions such as cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, and other adult cardiac pathologies seen in an outpatient cardiology population.
