Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Assist with intubations and manage ventilators including BiPaP and CPAP
• Perform arterial blood gas collection
• Collaborate with a team of 2 RTs per shift and a 24/7 house supervisor
• Float throughout the hospital as required

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications
• Licensed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
