Key Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant

• Assist in executing physical therapy treatment plans as directed by a licensed physical therapist
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatments
• Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation
• Communicate patient feedback and treatment outcomes with the healthcare team
• Adapt treatment plans according to patient needs and progress

Requirements of the Physical Therapist Assistant

• Valid PTA license
• Preferred outpatient experience
