Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory care to patients, including those with COVID-19
• Perform adult critical care, emergency department support, and manage intubation/extubation
• Conduct nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Manage tracheostomy care, vent weaning, and high flow nasal cannula therapy
• Utilize EPIC charting system effectively

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory care
• Current BLS, RRT, and CRT certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system required
