Job Title: Echo Sonographer
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Pay: $2,150 weekly
Shifts: 4 Days - 10 Hours (7AM - 5:30PM)
Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Echo Sonographer for an immediate start in Santa Fe, NM. This travel assignment focuses on performing diagnostic echocardiograms on adults and pediatric patients. Key Responsibilities of the Echo Sonographer
- Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams.
- Coordinate scheduling and transportation of patients with related departments.
- Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing M-mode measurements and exchanging pertinent information.
- Deliver, pick up, and distribute dictations in a timely manner.
- Respond to patient needs during exams and report any condition changes to physicians or nurses.
- Maintain examination rooms and order Echo supplies as needed.
- Log patient exams and maintain accurate departmental records.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities and share on-call coverage responsibilities.
- Ensure quality control of equipment and coordinate necessary repairs.
- Stay updated with advancements in Echocardiography and collaborate with cardiologists.
- Assist with other cardiac procedures when required.
Requirements of the Echo Sonographer
- High school diploma or equivalent; preference for completion of a two-year allied health education program.
- A.R.D.M.S./CCI registered or registry eligible or equivalent national accreditation required.
- State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License.
- BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate strong organizational and collaborative skills.
- Preferred experience of two years performing echocardiograms.
